Anita Briem and Anisa Butt
Anita Briem, an Icelandic actor, is a household name. Known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour , the young woman who was to become queen of the third marriage to King Henry VIII in the series on television The Tudors and for her part in the role of Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem started her acting career in the age of 9 in the National Theater in Iceland. When she was in her home country Iceland she was a part of various plays, radio programs and TV programs as an actress in her early years. Briem, then 16, was a teenager when she moved to London and performed in The production Lenin In Love at The New End Theater. Briem went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for a period of three years, and was awarded a diploma in Drama. At RADA it was the place where she performed in a variety of plays, including The Cherry Garden of Anton Chekhov in addition to Bernarda Alba's House written by Federico Garcia Lorca.
